Understanding the Science: a public forum on the 765 kV lines (CAM765)
A public education forum on the health and environmental effects of the proposed 765 kV transmission corridor, Thursday, September 17 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the North Crawford School District, 47050 County Rd X, Soldiers Grove. Sponsored by the Coalition Against MariBell 765, Inc. (CAM765).
The sponsor’s topic is Understanding the Science. The featured speaker is Theodora Scarato, director of the Wireless and EMF Program at Environmental Health Sciences, who according to CAM765 will discuss electromagnetic fields, stray voltage, public policy, and the research on effects on people, livestock, pollinators and birds. The sponsor says the evening will also include an update from attorney Erik Olsen of Eminent Domain Services on the coalition’s legal efforts, and will open with singer-songwriter Larry Long performing “Nothing to Do With Line 765.”
