Walworth County Town Hall: opposition to the BECI 765 kV project (Elkhorn)

A community town hall on the proposed BECI 765 kV project, Tuesday, September 15, starting at 5:30 pm at the Pig Barn Pavilion, Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company, N5543 County Road O, Elkhorn. No registration required; open to everyone.

According to the organizers’ flyer, the featured speaker is Theodora Scarato, MSW, executive director of the Environmental Health Trust, on electromagnetic-field exposure; attorney Erik Olsen of Eminent Domain Services will give a legal update; and State Rep. Ellen Schutt and other invited elected officials and guests will take part. Come for information, updates and discussion on the project, whose developer has published a nine-county study area that ends at the Illinois line in Walworth County.
