A community education forum on the proposed BECI 765 kV transmission line, Monday, October 26 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Whispering Pines Event Center, 101 Bethel Drive, Poynette. The same program repeats from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Space is limited, and the organizers say overflow from the first session may attend the second.

The organizers’ flyer describes it as hosted by Poynette, Lowville and Dekorra community members. The forum offers information from local researchers and neighbors and time for questions from the community. The organizers describe it as a community forum, not a political event.
